[EXCELLENT / Tested] Canon FTb Body & Old FD 28mm f/3.5 Lens Set

■ Overview

This is a great vintage set featuring the classic Canon FTb fully mechanical 35mm SLR film camera (Released in 1971) and the Canon "Old FD" 28mm f/3.5 wide-angle lens with the iconic silver breech-lock mount (Released in 1971).
A brand new 625GH (1.5V) battery is included and installed, making the camera ready for immediate use. Highly practical!

[Appearance: EXCELLENT]
It is in very beautiful condition. While there are some light scratches due to its age, there are almost no conspicuous large scratches, scuffs, or dents. This specific model is prone to accumulating dirt over the years, but this unit is very clean with almost no noticeable dirt. Since the impression of cosmetic condition can vary from person to person, please carefully check the attached photos for details.

[Optics: EXCELLENT]
The viewfinder offers outstanding visibility. Cameras from this era often suffer from a lot of internal dust, but this particular unit is very clean with almost no dust inside, which is quite rare.

[Functional: Tested & Working]
All functions have been completely tested and work perfectly.
The shutter fires perfectly at all speeds.
The light meter responds dynamically to light.
The self-timer and film counter work perfectly.
*Key Point: The shutter curtain and the internal film chamber are very clean and well-maintained!
*Note about Light Seals & Battery: The light seals are in their original vintage condition. A brand new 625GH (1.5V) battery is included and installed. (Please note that using a modern 1.5V battery instead of the original 1.35V mercury battery causes the meter to read about 1-1.5 stops over. This is normal and easily compensated via the ISO dial).

Clear! There is NO fungus and NO haze affecting practical shooting. Normal vintage dust is present.

The focus helicoid and aperture operate smoothly.
The aperture blades are snappy and oil-free.
