Zeiss-Ikon Nettar 515/16 6x6 cm camera, tested and working, in very good condition from 1930–1940, compatible with 120/220 film, includes leather case, retractable tripod and ball head, serial number S66927.
Description from the seller
A offered a very beautiful (almost like new) Zeiss-Ikon Nettar (515/16) medium format camera 6x6 cm with a Novar 75mm lens.
The camera comes from my personal collection and has always been treated with the necessary care.
The camera is very beautiful and there is no lacquer loss or damage to the black paint. No scratches and no cleaning traces on the glass. However I must say that the lens may benefit from an internal cleaning. I leave it to the new owner to decide whether to have this done or to do it themselves.
Diaphragm works excellently from f/6.3 to f/22
The shutter works at all speeds perfectly from 1/25, 1/75, 1/200 sec and B.
The bellows are light-tight without tears or pinholes.
Opening and closing of the camera operates very smoothly.
Focusing of the lens also works excellently.
The fold-out waist-level finder is also in very good and undamaged condition.
Included with the camera is a retractable tripod and pan head.
The tripod and pan head are also in nice and good working condition.
A leather carrying case is also included. The case is in very nice condition, but it is missing the mounting nut to hold the camera. However this poses no problem to use the camera in the case.
The camera uses 120/220 roll film.
This nice collectible camera should certainly not be missing from your display cabinet or camera collection.
The camera with tripod and pan head will be carefully and securely packed and shipped with a Track & Trace number and insurance.
NOTE:
I always ship my goods with Track & Trace number and insurance to prevent possible damage and theft.
I use Catawiki's "Smart Shipping" tool. Catawiki introduced this a few years ago to obtain better shipping prices from postal carriers.
I therefore have no say in determining the shipping costs and only receive digitally a shipping label that I must print myself and affix to the package.
If you cannot agree to this, please do not place bids.
Thank you in advance.
