Description from the seller

Ciborium with paten, spoon, and original case - Silversmith Van Regemorter

Special liturgical set consisting of a richly decorated gilded silver chalice with the accompanying paten, spoon and case.

The chalice has a classically shaped, funnel-form cup with a beautifully decorated transition to the stem. The stem is fitted with a spherical, richly ornamented knop featuring stylized flower and leaf motifs. The broad, curved foot is worked with engraved ornaments in panels.
The accompanying paten is round and also gilded. On the paten there is a striking emblem medallion. The paten bears the master’s mark of the well-known silversmith Van Regemorter.
The set is supplied in an original black-hued case with cream-colored lining and separate recesses for the chalice, spoon, and paten.

Good overall condition, with light signs of use, small scratches and gilding wear in keeping with the age and liturgical use of the object.

The photos form an integral part of the description of the objects and complete the presentation. Please view carefully before you place a bid.

The object will be carefully packed and insured, shipped with a track and trace number to ensure fast and safe delivery.
