Italian console/petinuse from the 1930s

Elegant antique petinuse, crafted in the Louis XV revival style, featuring a richly shaped and serpentine-fronted form.

Central open recess flanked by two enclosed cupboards, each fitted with a single door
The furniture is decorated with elaborate hand-carved floral and foliate motifs, moulded apron and decorative cabriole legs terminating in scroll feet
From the top view, we can see the shaped rectangular top with softly curved corners and overhanging moulded edge.
The condition is very great for its age, despite of some minimal scratches of age and use.
The patina is super splendid.
It was well-made with great craftsmanship.
