A small Edwardian silver photograph frame by John Edward Wilmot, Birmingham, 1901.
Of shaped rectangular form, the silver front richly embossed and chased with scrolling foliage and flowers on textured grounds, centred by a rose beneath a crown, the lower corners with further floral sprays. The lower border struck with the maker’s mark JW, Birmingham assay mark, lion passant and date letter b for 1901, and further stamped RD 284931 for the registered design.
