[Lot of 2] Vintage French Rococo Style Brass Twin-Arm Wall Sconces / Sconces Set – c. 1950-1960

A beautiful pair of vintage twin-arm wall sconces executed in the classic French Rococo (Louis XV) style.
Cast from solid brass, these elegant fixtures feature fluid, asymmetrical backplates richly adorned with detailed acanthus leaf motifs and organic scrollwork.
Each sconce supports two candle-style lights fitted with decorative dripping-wax plastic sleeves, giving them an authentic mid-century antique appearance.

The brass surfaces retain an attractive, authentic aged patina with natural oxidation in the deeper recessed areas, which beautifully emphasizes the sculptural relief.

**Condition Report:**
* **Structure:** Excellent vintage condition. The brass castings are solid and robust, with no cracks, breaks, or missing structural elements.
* **Wiring:** **Important - Please Note:** The original wiring has been cut and the copper conductors are exposed/oxidized at the back (as shown in the photographs). The internal sockets are intact, but the set **requires complete rewiring** prior to safe installation and operation.
* **Cosmetics:** Light age-related wear, superficial scratches, and surface dust present. One pair of vintage twisted-flame glass bulbs is included (bulbs are untested).
