This panel is part of the GOLD series that was intended to be used for a furniture collection in which the panels stood out against the minimalist furniture in mahogany.
Nino Gobbis used faesite panels as support, which allow for precise lines, uniform color blocks, and durability with the sgorbio (carving tool).
The piece testifies to an era when Arreda di Celotto furniture represented the decor of the time with these inserts.
The object is in perfect condition despite its 70 years.
Gobbis collaborated with Arreda di Celotto, which in the 1950s produced furnishings designed by famous Italian architects and designers such as Piero Celotto, commissioning decorative panels from artists like Nino Gobbis to furnish bourgeois homes, offices, hotels, or cruise ships.
Nino Gobbis, Italian painter and engraver active in the mid-20th century, whose figure is closely tied to the world of bespoke interior design and Treviso’s mid-century modernism of the 1950s and 60s.

Declaration of Provenance
I declare that this panel comes from the private collection of the Celotto family of Montebelluna, where it has remained since the time of its creation. The work later became part of my private collection and is offered for sale with this provenance declaration, issued in good faith.

To protect the panel it will be shipped with a structure that protects and maintains the panel’s rigidity and to prevent damage during transport; this unfortunately affects shipping costs but guarantees the object's integrity.
