Bas-relief panel carved by Nino Gobbis in 1955. Measurements: 80 x 40
Nino Gobbis, a prominent artist in the Venetian art scene of the twentieth century who had his works exhibited at the Venice Biennale in the 1950s, this panel represents an extraordinary fusion of figurative art.
Gobbis produced these panels for a famous furniture manufacturer of the era in Montebelluna, Treviso; these elements were incorporated into furniture, falling within the 1950s-60s design trend.
The staged photo was created with the help of AI, without minimally altering the craftsmanship of the object.
Gobbis collaborated with Arreda di Celotto, which in the 1950s produced furnishings designed by famous Italian architects and designers such as Piero Celotto, and other artists like Toni Benetton, Augusto Murer and others who created decorative objects for interiors.
