Description from the seller
Up for auction is a refined and important centerpiece plate (or underplate) in solid silver with 800 fineness, made by the famous and historic Italian manufacturer Rino Greggio of Padua.
The plate stands out for clean lines, a classic and minimalist design, and a thick, smooth edge. The back features a splendid finish with concentric milling and geometric reflections. Fineness .800 inscribed in the oval, with factory stamp: ★ 29 PD, a historic identifier of the prestigious Greggio Rino silverware (active in Padua since 1948).
The item is used and is presented in the condition visible in the photo. On the front there are scattered superficial scratches due to use. On the back there are residues/circular marks left by old protective felts; such marks are superficial and completely removable with a silver-specific polish or a thorough cleaning. Structurally intact, with no dents or deformations.
Please carefully view the complete photo gallery (which includes details of the stamps and measurements) to assess the real condition of the lot before bidding.
