GUCCI “Guccissimo” Vintage 1996 – Rare set of 6 porcelain placemats – 33 cm
Description:
Rare complete set of 6 large GUCCI porcelain plates/placemats, belonging to the “Guccissimo” collection, dating to the 1990s.
The Guccissimo collection emerged around 1996, during the Tom Ford era, and was produced for a few years and sold exclusively in Gucci boutiques.
The characteristic multichrome decor, predominantly blue and light blue, runs along the edge with the large GUCCI letters, integrated with some of the Maison’s iconic motifs: accessories, floral elements, butterflies, fauna and decorative references.
On the back is the original marking GUCCI PORCELLANA – MADE IN JAPAN.
Set composed of 6 pieces.
Diameter: about 33 cm.
Multicolored porcelain with gilded edge.
The plates were received as a gift about 20 years ago and have never been used. Carefully stored and in excellent condition, as shown in the photographs.
Original box not present.
