50s Capodimonte white glazed ceramic coffee service, made in Italy, consisting of:

with saucers, diameter 13.2 cm.

A collectible piece or display cabinet item for its superb and ostentatious majesty, exuberant in its raised relief decorations with vivid polychrome tones (green, pink, earth) alternating with abundant gold that finishes the rims, handles, bases and lids, and in the fine gold on the exterior of the objects. The hand-painted decoration, featuring 'putti', echoes the opulence of European 17th-century iconography and unfolds around the convex surfaces among lush verdant vegetation also in relief, creating a bucolic and mythical atmosphere.
