There can be patches of stars in black (Aegerine), orange (Tinaksite) and also transparent crystals (Microcline Feldspar). Through its rare color change, the charoite appears very lively, making the piece an exclusive decorative object. The charoite was discovered in 1978 and is a very rare mineral found only in Siberia, Russia. It is named after the Chara River, which flows past the mountain where it is mined.
