This is a traditional Persian earthenware bowl from the Qajar dynasty (18th to early 20th century), originating from the famous potter city Meybod (Iran). The image shows an iconic and traditional Iranian design: Khânom Khorshid (Lady Sun): In the center is a stylized female face depicted, surrounded by sun rays. This motif has a deep cultural meaning in Persia and symbolizes light, warmth and fertility. 
Around the central sun are traditionally fish (often identified as protective elements) and birds painted in cobalt blue, ochre yellow and black tones. The object is made of glazed earthenware with characteristic fine crazing lines in the glaze.

Dit is een traditionele Perzische aardewerken kom uit de Qajar-dynastie (18e tot vroege 20e eeuw), afkomstig uit de bekende pottenbakkersstad Meybod (Iran).De afbeelding toont een iconisch en traditioneel Iraans ontwerp: Khânom Khorshid (Vrouw Zon): In het midden is een gestileerd vrouwengezicht afgebeeld, omringd door zonnestralen. Dit motief heeft een diepe culturele betekenis in Perzië en symboliseert licht, warmte en vruchtbaarheid. 
Rondom de centrale zon zijn traditioneel vissen (vaak geïdentificeerd als beschermende elementen) en vogels geschilderd in kobaltblauwe, okergele en zwart tinten. Het object is gemaakt van geglazuurd aardewerk met karakteristieke fijne craquelé-lijntjes in het glazuur.
