Description from the seller
Solido Competition – Porsche 935 K3 – Kremer "Vaillant" #51 – 1:18 Scale Model Car
Description:
A 1:18 scale Porsche 935 K3 by Solido's Competition series, finished in the unmistakable turquoise "Vaillant" livery run by Kremer Racing, complete with race number 51 and the rainbow-striped graphics that made this one of the most recognisable liveries of the era.
The Porsche 935 K3, developed independently by the Kremer brothers from Porsche's factory 935, became one of the most successful customer racing cars of its time — famously winning the 1979 24 Hours of Le Mans outright, beating Porsche's own factory entries in the process. The Vaillant-sponsored cars (named for the German heating and boiler brand) were a fixture of DRM and international GT racing throughout the late 1970s and early '80s, instantly identifiable by this turquoise-and-rainbow scheme.
Solido's Competition series rendition captures the 935 K3's slab-sided widebody silhouette and towering rear wing well, with the full Vaillant/Kremer sponsor decals, gold BBS-style wheels, and cartoon character graphics on the rear flank faithfully reproduced. Presented in original window-box packaging.
Livery: Vaillant-Kremer #51
Condition: Mint/Near Mint
Packaging: Original Solido Competition box
Scale: 1:18
Manufacturer: Solido
A vibrant, unmistakable piece for any Porsche 935, Kremer Racing, or Group 5 collection.
