Description from the seller
Solido Competition – Porsche 911 RSR – Martini #3 "Psychedelic" Livery – 1:18 Scale Model Car
Description:
A 1:18 scale Porsche 911 RSR by Solido's Competition series, finished in a bold purple-and-green swirl livery, race #3, with Martini and Cibié branding — one of the more visually striking liveries to ever grace an early 911 racer.
The Porsche 911 RSR was the definitive early-'70s evolution of the 911 for competition, and remains one of the most celebrated air-cooled racing Porsches ever built — flared arches, a ducktail spoiler, and a howling flat-six that made it a favourite in European GT and endurance racing throughout the 1970s. While Martini's Porsche partnership is best remembered through its classic white-and-stripe livery on the 917 and 935, liveries like this swirled purple-and-green scheme reflect the more experimental, psychedelic paint jobs that occasionally appeared in period sportscar racing.
Solido's Competition series rendition captures the RSR's flared bodywork, ducktail spoiler, and roll-cage-equipped interior with real presence, finished on a display base marked "PORSCHE 911 RSR." Presented in original window-box packaging.
Livery: Martini/Cibié #3, purple-and-green scheme
Condition: Near Mint with box ware
Packaging: Original Solido Competition box
Scale: 1:18
Manufacturer: Solido
A genuine eye-catcher for any Porsche 911, Martini Racing, or vintage GT livery collection.
