A small Edwardian sterling silver photograph frame, fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1910.
Of rectangular form, the silver front is designed with a broad gently moulded border, decorated at intervals with applied ribbon-tied motifs. The restrained geometric treatment and repeating ribbon ornament give the frame an elegant Edwardian character.
The lower border is struck with full British hallmarks for Birmingham, 1910, including the lion passant for sterling silver and date letter l.
