Reliquary oval pendant from the 19th century, in silvered metal, containing under glass a relic identified by its old label « …de Chantal », attributed to Saint Jeanne-Françoise de Chantal (1572–1641).
The reverse is ornamented in relief with the Virgin and Child, surrounded by a Latin inscription.
Suspension ring allowing it to be worn as a pendant.
Saint Jeanne-Françoise de Chantal founded in 1610, with Saint Francis de Sales, the Order of the Visitation of Holy Mary. She was canonized in 1767.
