Plaubel Makina III R - Complete Set Medium format camera

This Plaubel Makina III R outfit was produced in Germany from the late 1940s to the 1960s. This medium-format rangefinder system is famous for its precision engineering, modular back design, and folding strut.

The outfit includes the main camera with its original leather case, manual, and Swedish distributor documentation from A/B Fritz Weist & Co.
Accessories feature the focal plane shutter back (No. 528) in its fitted box, two roll film cassettes with instruction brochure, and one metal sheet film/plate holder.
Also included is a flash unit in its original box with its parts, a D.R.P. stamped mounting clamp, a round leatherette tripod base plate, flash extension tubes, an orange filter, a green filter, an empty filter adapter ring, a stamped metal lens cap, and mounting hardware.

​The equipment was acquired directly from an estate clearance and is being offered entirely untested. Physical cosmetic condition throughout the set shows some surface wear, minor edge rub marks, and some patina. The plate holder dark slide displays a small spot of surface oxidation on the reverse side. The green filter glass is intact, though the internal rubber retention gasket has dried and flaked inside the ring frame. Leatherette coverings, original presentation boxes, and metal bodies remain structurally sound across all pieces. There is some smell of cigarettes, so the set needs some airing. Generally, everything looks good with no significant damage.
