Antique six-arm Murano glass chandelier, handmade in Venice, Italy, circa 1970, in good used condition with minor signs of age, 66 cm wide and 88 cm high, using E14 bulbs, complete and in working order.

Original six-light chandelier, entirely handmade by a Murano master glassmaker, a true classic of Murano glass, with rich decorations in pink/crimson glass. All pieces are similar, but not identical, given the fully artisanal workmanship.
Very bright in different lighting conditions, see all the photos. It illuminated the center of a shop in Venice, now under restoration.

Dating: approx. 1970.
It has three shorter arms with upward-facing floral cups, interleaved with three beaked arms with large downward-facing floral cups. In the center, three long leaves and three tall pink flowers in glass paste. The stem and the finial are richly decorated with pink morise.
Width: 66 cm Height: 88 cm approx.
Particularly suitable for a classic interior, but also modern thanks to its beautiful clear glass and gold. The photos with ambient inserts are shown to convey the versatility of this splendid example of Murano art.
Complete with all pieces. Electrical system functioning.
E14 socket bulbs. The chandelier has been only dusted to preserve its light patina of time, but could possibly be washed before mounting.

I mainly collect Murano chandeliers thanks to the collaboration with some companies that restore apartments and palaces in Venice. In this way, over time, I have recovered the chandeliers of elegant and often ancient houses in the lagoon and in the nearby areas.
Murano glass has an incomparable charm: every piece, even the simplest, has a story hidden in its fragility and its iridescent light.
