This is a lot of 25 so-called geometric weights used to weigh gold powder. In composing this lot, a wide variety of symbols and signs was chosen: the spiral, sun rays, a variant of the swastika. The pieces bear marks of heavy use and age. On some pieces lead has been applied to calibrate and thus achieve a specific weight.
