Description from the seller

French mantel clock dating from the second half of the 19th century in gilded bronze. The case is decorated with fluted lateral columns and is topped by a sculpture depicting a putto with a veil, with two tritons at its side. All the decoration centers on the marine theme; in the lower front, a trophy featuring a trident, an oar, and a band that unites them stands out. The dial is white enamel with black Roman numerals, blued hands, and two winding holes, and at the base there are two porcelain plaques hand-painted with bouquets of flowers framed by a blue border. The movement is Japy Freres, as seen in the photo, and has a serial number 999, making it datable to 1855–1867. Complete with winding key. Functioning.
Dimensions: Height 33 cm. Width 29 cm. Depth 12 cm.
Weight: 5.1 kg.
