Stunning and rare sugar-sifting spoon with pierced decorative pattern, filet contour, entirely in solid silver 950/1000, covered with a layer of gold (vermeil). Hallmark: 2nd Cock, 1st title used from 1809 to 1819, Napoleonic era. Paris guarantee mark and the master goldsmith mark Basile Chenailler, Parisian goldsmith from 1807 to 1824. The handle is decorated with a monogram under a Marquis crown.
Excellent overall condition with some signs of wear.
Dimensions: approximately 20.5 cm in length, weight 81 grams.
