The troupe consists of 40 four-footed artists, namely Scottish ponies of the smallest breed in Europe, monkeys, dogs and goats. In the Circus at Karlsplatz. Performances with numerous trained animals. The amusing woodcut shows the assault and bombardment of a medieval city wall by animals with weapons and in uniforms. - The enterprise of Franz Liphard seems to have been quite short-lived; for me only appearances in the year 1872 are verifiable. - With stamp of the Royal Police Direction (KPD).
