The CV 1200 delivers about 2 × 40 watts continuous into 4 ohms and 2 × 28 watts into 8 ohms. The amplifier features an MM phono input for a turntable, tuner, two tape connections and a separate monitor function. At the rear there are both RCA and the period’s characteristic DIN connections.
The controls are extensive with separate bass, treble and balance controls, contour, mono, presence and high- and low-pass filters. Two pairs of speakers can be switched separately from the front. In addition the CV 1200 has a headphone jack and a separately adjustable microphone input.
