Poster for the Munich engagement of the Dutch company of Oscar Carré (1846-1911), son of Carl Theodor Wilhelm Carré (1817-79) and the famous equestrian Käthchen Gärtner. After Oscar's death, the circus was dissolved and the remaining stock was sold to Sarrasani.
