Description from the seller
Offered for sale is a highly collectible AUTOart Porsche 917 LH “Hippie” #3, in 1:18 scale, from the Porsche Design Driver’s Selection.
The model represents the legendary Porsche 917 LH #3 that competed in the 1970 24 Hours of Le Mans, driven by Gérard Larrousse and Willi Kauhsen. Its spectacular purple-and-green psychedelic “Hippie” livery has made this one of the most recognisable Porsche racing cars of all time.
Porsche reference: WAP02100818
Manufacturer: AUTOart / Gateway Global Limited
Scale: 1:18
Car: Porsche 917 LH “Hippie”
Race: 24 Hours of Le Mans, 1970
Number: 3
The model is in mint condition and has never been displayed. It has always been kept in its original packaging.
It comes complete with:
* Original silver Porsche Driver’s Selection presentation box
* Original fitted polystyrene packaging
* Original Porsche information leaflet
* Model in excellent, carefully preserved condition
The outer box and polystyrene packaging may show minor signs of storage due to age; please study the photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description.
A particularly attractive and increasingly difficult-to-find Porsche collector’s model, especially in this complete and unused condition.
The item will be carefully packed for shipping to protect both the model and its original packaging.
