Hitachi SR-700 solid state vintage receiver
Rare and very beautiful receiver from Hitachi from the golden hi-fi era (1972-1975)
This is a very well-preserved example!
The combination with the brushed aluminum front with aluminum knobs and real wood side panels gives this unit a uniquely beautiful and high-quality vintage look
Visually in very nice condition, with small signs of use on the front panel
The original wooden side panels are also still in very nice condition. No significant damage, not even on the corners
As for the technology: the receiver is fully cleaned inside and out and extensively tested. The dial backlighting has been completely renewed
All potentiometers and switches have been cleaned, so no proble m with crackling knobs or switches
The receiver features various connections, including a very good phono input
The tuner section has crystal-clear FM stereo reception, and the tuning is very selective, even with a simple wire as an antenna
The sound quality is truly fantastic, with that typical warm and punchy 1970s sound
