A beautiful handmade Caucasian rug with central diamond medallion (symbolizing the union of man and woman). The rug also includes a unique camel picture (symbolizing wealth and prosperity). The central medallion contains classical Caucasian motifs which include ramshorns (symbolizing power) and stars (symbolizing good luck). Four elephant's foot motifs (gul) are included on the top and bottom of the field, each gul is partitioned into four parts representing the four seasons. The rug also features a bold vine border encased in two minor borders made of triangles symbolizing the Caucasus mountains. The rug is dated 1338 Hijri year, 1920 Gregorian year. This rug is woven in wool on a wool loom, guaranteeing its stunning beauty and ensuring durability for years to come.
