Beautiful and extensive lot of 35 historical hand-painted tin soldiers.
The ensemble consists of 35 enlisted figures with rifles and 7 officer or command figures with sabers. The figures wear gray tunic coats, blue trousers, black boots, and corresponding headgear. Particularly decorative are the finely executed white or silver-colored uniform embellishments and the different armaments.
The figures are traditional flat or lightly reliefed tin figures, attached individually to their molded stand bases. The painting shows numerous fine details on uniforms, faces, rifles, and sabers.
Condition: age-appropriate good collector’s condition. The original paint shows occasional small losses of color, wear, and signs of use. On individual thin parts such as rifles or sabers, there may be slight deformations. Please note the numerous detail photos as part of the condition description.
An attractive complete ensemble for collectors of historical tin figures, toy soldiers, and militaria/police-history miniatures.
