Description from the seller
Original vintage Hillebrand “Oslo” table lamp/desk lamp, designed by Dr. Heinz Georg Pfaender for Hillebrand-Leuchten, Germany, early 1960s.
Characteristic modernist design with a large round metal shade, slender rectangular stem, and a round weighted base. The lamp is finished in black lacquered metal with a white interior of the shade. The base contains the original metal push button.
The shade is fitted with two E14 sockets, ensuring light is spread broadly and evenly downward. On the inside there is still an old production/inventory sticker with a number.
In original vintage condition, with signs of use and aging appropriate to its age. The black lacquer shows scratches, spots, and light lacquer wear. The metal stem also shows patina/oxidation. The white interior also has light signs of use.
Not restored or repainted; precisely the original finish and patina are preserved.
Electrical operation: working and tested.
