Rare vintage textile set consisting of a large tablecloth and its matching doily, made of 100% wool and entirely hand-embroidered. From a Tunisian wedding trousseau from the 1980s, the set has remained unused and is in exceptional condition.
Magnificent artisanal set comprising two perfectly matching pieces:
Large tablecloth: 155 × 100 cm
Matching doily: 37 × 31 cm
Both pieces are woven in 100% wool and entirely handmade according to traditional cross-stitch embroidery techniques. The geometric and polychrome floral motifs, as well as the original fringes, illustrate the expertise of Tunisian artisans.
This set comes from a wedding trousseau made around 1980. Carefully preserved for more than forty years, it has never been used and is in near-new condition.
An authentic collectible piece, ideal for lovers of antique textiles, folk art, vintage decor, or traditional craftsmanship.
