Religious objects - Wood - 1940-1950 - Votive plaque

Oil-painted votive panel on wood from around the middle of the 20th century. It is a derivative of the fresco “The Virgin and Child Between Saints John and Francis by Pietro Lorenzetti,” located inside the Basilica of Saint Francis in Assisi, in the Orsini Chapel. A faithful derivative panel, with a gold ground and the original patina of its time. Frame is a solid wood casing from the same period, with overall dimensions of 54 x 40 cm, the panel itself measuring 49 x 25 cm. Due to current regulations, it cannot be shipped outside the European Union.
