Christofle - Asparagus tongs - Silverplated - 1850-1900

Silver-plated asparagus tongs from the famous house Charles CHRISTOFLE, dated 1844 to 1935.
The tongs were made in the mid-19th century.
The initials EH of the master of the house and his wife are engraved on the front and back.
Two hallmarks on the handle.
First hallmark is a rectangular mark bearing CHRISTOFLE.
Second hallmark is a square depicting a balance; between the balance plates there is a small bee topped with four stars, and the initials CC for Charles CHRISTOFLE are also visible.
