Small earthenware vase made in South Holland, Gouda, early 20th century, with a frieze depicting a Dutch meadow scene featuring a farm, a haystack by the water with a drawbridge, set in a wide polder landscape with windmills on the horizon, painted after Van Rossum du Chattel.
Marked South Holland with a gatelet and painter's signature. Numbered 557 with underneath 417 plus impressed number 557 and letters.
The vase is in excellent condition and is 13 cm tall.

Klein aardewerk vaasje uitgevoerd bij Zuid-Holland, Gouda, begin 20e eeuw met een fries van een Hollands weide tafereel met boerderij, hooiberg aan het water met een ophaal brug te midden van een weids polderlandschap met molens aan de horizon, geschilderd naar Van Rossum du Chattel.
Gemerkt Zuid-Holland met poortje en schilderssignatuur. Genummerd 557 met eronder 417 plus ingedrukt nummer 557 en letters.
Het vaasje verkeert in excellente staat en is 13 cm hoog.
