An exceptionally attractive silver scheepjesschelling from 1727, struck in Dordrecht for Holland and West-Friesland. Extremely rare in this high and particularly appealing quality, with a powerful presence and a beautifully preserved mint state.
The combination of the crowned Holland shield and the characteristic three-masted ship makes the scheepjesschelling one of the most recognizable maritime coin types of the Republic.
