We offer you this fabulous Olivetti Lettera 12 machine made by the famous Italian manufacturer Olivetti, manufactured in Spain in the Barcelona region.

The design of this typewriter was conceived by Mario Belinni in 1978. Note that the Olivetti Lettera 12 is the model that followed the Olivetti Lettera 10.

These two models are the first typewriters that no longer require ribbon spools to be used. Indeed, the ribbon spools have been replaced by a 8 mm fabric ribbon cartridge. However, it will only be possible to write with black ink cartridges.

They are therefore much simpler to use, but can also be more expensive in terms of regular use.

Apart from the font size, the Olivetti Lettera 10 and 12 typewriters are very similar.

As you can see in the photos, the Olivetti Lettera 12 typewriter has two keys that the previous model did not have.

The red key to the right of the space bar activates the “Repeat” function. The red key at the top right is used to set tabulations.

On this model, the AZERTY keyboard is rarer than the QWERTY keyboard.

The finishes are precise and the materials used are of high quality. This mix of white plastic and black metal parts gives a clean look, with a total weight of about 5 kg.
