Crafted from a fine cream silk ground with vertical woven stripes, this garment features exquisite polychrome floral needlework depicting meandering vines, floral sprays, and stylized ribbon bows in the Ottoman late-Baroque / Rococo style.
The front edges, hem, and cuffs are richly adorned with dramatic scalloped borders and heavy gold-metal thread embroidery with complex scrolling foliage and oriental motifs.
