Excellent hand crafted quality 19th Century sterling 925 rectangular shaped collectable visiting card case with hinged cover, finely engraved with naturalistic decoration framing guilloche ground and cartouche with "LJC" monogram
Fully hallmarked on body Birmingham Assay office guarantee for 925 silver together with "E" date letter for 1872 and Edward Smith silversmith's mark

Condition report:
In clean fine 173 years old original condition, perfectly closing - great patina, minor scratches, dings and dark spots - no repairs, no cracks, as you can see in pictures that are part of the description
