Description
Offered is an exceptional vintage pendant light from the early 1970s.
The fixture consists of a heavy, surrounding structural-glass ring (“ice glass”) and a solid glass bottom plate with a characteristic relief texture. The combination of brushed metal, white-enameled reflector, and thick-walled pressed glass creates a pleasant, warm, and even light.
The design is typical for the high-end German lighting production of the late 1960s and early 1970s and recalls designs by Doria Leuchten, Peill & Putzler, or Glashütte Limburg.
The lamp is equipped with three E27 holders, providing excellent light output.
