Elegant Italian sideboard in Art Deco style, probably dating from the 1930s–1940s, characterized by refined work in veneered wood and walnut burl.

The piece presents a monumental and harmonious structure, with a wide shaped upper surface, articulated front, and two elegant curved glass-fronted side vitrines with curved glass. The central part consists of a large door with a burl veneer panel, enhanced by a refined geometric and floral inlay decoration.

Numerous decorative details enrich the structure: inlaid fillets and ornamental motifs along the front, decorative applications in gilt metal, and symmetrical motifs that emphasize the lines of the piece. The rounded shapes of the vitrines and the plinth are particularly characteristic of the Art Deco aesthetics.

Inside the vitrines there are shelves, while the central door provides a large storage compartment. The locks and decorative elements further contribute to the elegant and refined appearance of the piece.

The sideboard preserves a beautiful patina and a notable decorative presence. There are normal signs of time and use, including scratches, small abrasions, variations in the polish, and slight surface imperfections, visible in the photographs.
