Description from the seller

Elegant French two-door cabinet from Maison Soubrier, Paris, probably around 1900, executed in the Louis XVI style.

The cabinet features an elaborately veneered front with geometric marquetry. Both doors display centrally finely worked floral vase motifs. The design is complemented by gold-colored metal fittings, curved feet, and a light, gray-veined marble top.

Inside there are several glass shelves. The piece is clearly marked: there is both a metal plaque with the inscription “SOUBRIER – AMEUBLEMENTS D’ART – 14 Rue de Reuilly – PARIS” and another Soubrier designation on the interior.

Dimensions:
Height: approx. 140 cm
Width: approx. 94 cm
Depth: approx. 37.5 cm

The cabinet is in good age-appropriate condition with typical signs of use and aging. Please note the photos as part of the condition description. A key is not present.

Due to its size, weight, and marble top, regular parcel shipping is not offered.

Pickup:
Pickup location is Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany.

The buyer should bring suitable packaging and transport protection materials, in particular furniture blankets, ratchet straps, and, if necessary, edge protectors and padding. For the delicate marble top and the glass shelves, suitably secure packaging is recommended.

During loading of the furniture, assistance can be provided on-site by arrangement. A suitable vehicle and the final securing of the piece for transport are to be organized by the buyer or the commissioned transport company.

If desired, we are happy to assist the buyer in organizing a suitable shipping company or furniture transport firm. The commissioning and all transport costs are borne by the buyer."}
