Lot of 16 natural Burmese amber cabochons with insect and plant remains inside.
Burmese amber is a fossilized plant resin that comes from the Hukawng Valley, in Kachin State, north of Myanmar (formerly Burma).
Dates to the Cretaceous period, about 99 million years ago. It has exceptional transparency and a color range that goes from deep yellow, to orange, brown, and intense red. Additionally, it has extraordinary scientific value due to the exceptional preservation of flora and fauna remains from this period.
Customs duties outside the EU will be borne by the auction winner.
