IN RISALTO

- Professional restoration all documented with invoices and photos as soon as completed
- Black plates Bari and original booklet with pages
- Original engine as per registration
- Technical inspection (revision) recently passed without defects found
STORIA / PANORAMICA
The Fiat 500 L is one of the most evolved versions of the iconic Italian utility car, characterized by finer finishes and a richer equipment level compared to previous models.
This 1970 example, sold new in Bari, underwent a complete professional restoration, fully documented by the corresponding invoices. The car was completely dismantled, down to the individual components and bolts, to be subsequently reassembled with the aim of returning it to a near-new condition. The result is a vehicle that today presents in excellent overall condition, the fruit of an in-depth intervention that touched the car as a whole.
ESTERNO
The bodywork has been fully restored in the original color Bianco 233, from the first to the last screw. Chrome and details are new, the wheels have been restored and the seals replaced with new elements, along with many other parts affected by the restoration. A polishing and detailing treatment has also just been completed, further enhancing the finish of the bodywork.
A measurement with a micrometer did not reveal any traces attributable to past accidents.
The underbody has been completely restored and presents itself in near-new condition.
INTERNO
The cabin has also been completely restored anew, using the best available spare parts, documented with invoices and photos.
The carpet has been fully replaced and installed while preserving the original layout. The soft top has been installed new, as have the various interior details, replaced with new or completely restored elements.
An interior sanitization has also just been completed.
MECCANICA
From a mechanical standpoint, the car retains the original engine as per the registration and has undergone a full restoration that touched every functional and aesthetic detail. The engine runs well and starts easily and has covered just 500 km since restoration. The gearbox works well and has been restored, as have the brakes.
The technical control has been passed without defects and is valid until October 2027.
Considering the minimal use and break-in of the car, even for a fully restored example it is advisable to perform a basic general check before normal use and for long journeys.
The 1970 Fiat 500 L today represents an interesting expression of one of the most appreciated versions of the famous Italian small car. The original sale in Bari, the black plates and the original booklet, together with the full professional restoration documented by invoices and the maintenance of the original engine as per the registration, contribute to make this example particularly well cared for and representative of the 500 L of the seventies.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
