Oil lamp - Glass, Metal, Wood

The object of the auction is a highly decorative oil lamp with a rich form, combining glass, brass, and a metal base in the shape of an amphora. The lamp has a signed burner (the inscription PARIS and a torch/flame symbol on the knob).

Base: A metal base shaped like an antique vase, decorated with botanical reliefs. By the handle there is a figure of a climbing putto.

Reservoir: Made of thick, transparent glass with impressive spiral embossing.

Shade (chimney): Glass, tall, with a slender form.

Base: Wooden, turned, stabilizing the entire structure.

The crown of the burner (the place where the chimney sits) is slightly dented (visible in close-ups).

Patina and tarnish: On the metal parts there is natural patina, localized wear of the coating, and traces of tarnish (greenish patina on brass burner elements).

Base: The wooden base has minor scratches and lacquer wear.
