A charming vintage kitchen weighing scale, retaining a wonderfully authentic aged appearance and a superb time-worn patina.

The scale features a cream-painted/enamelled body with a removable rectangular weighing tray. The original finish has developed a lovely distressed character over the years, with surface wear, areas of enamel loss, scuffing, oxidisation and attractive rust-toned patination to the metalwork. The aged finish gives the piece considerable character and would be particularly appealing to collectors of vintage kitchenalia and shop fittings.

The front retains its original graduated weighing scale and brass-toned maker’s plaque, adding to its period appeal. The combination of cream enamel, darkened metal and natural signs of age makes this a particularly decorative example.
