A beautiful, small-scale painting by the internationally recognized and award-winning contemporary artist Paulo Akiiki (Uganda, 1972). This refined original work is hand-signed and dated (Paulo '99), created shortly after his graduation from the prestigious Makerere University in Kampala.
The artwork showcases Akiiki’s early-developed and much-loved signature: elongated, proud human silhouettes in a dreamy, abstract-figurative composition. The color palette is harmonious and layered, with soft tones of turquoise, purple, pink, and ochre.
