An authentically stylish vintage Bob Timberlake rug, double woven.
The rug shows a detailed, woven scene of wild ducks (Mallard Ducks) in a reed bed by a lake. The rug is instantly recognizable by the distinctive red-green plaid trim (tartan) with multicolored fringe around it. Made in the United States from 100% heavy woven cotton (triple-woven tapestry).
In the 1990s, it was highly sought after by collectors.
Because it is jacquard-woven, the blanket is reversible; on the back you see exactly the same image, but with the colors inverted/negative. Size: 178 cm x 135.
This gorgeous vintage throw is equally suitable as a functional blanket, wall tapestry, or focal point in a cabin, hunting room, or rustic home. The rug is in nice condition.
