Side table - back-lacquered glass - Maison Jansen style

Elegant vintage side or coffee table, probably of French or Italian origin and manufactured around the middle of the 20th century, circa 1940–1960. The neoclassical design evokes furniture in the style of Maison Jansen. The maker is unknown.

Finished with turned brass legs, a brass-finished metal frame and a black lacquered glass top.

The table is in excellent vintage condition. The frame shows visible signs of age and use, including discoloration, wear, stains and scratches. The glass top has some surface scratches and a number of small, greasy spots (last photo) that cannot be wiped away. Please examine the detail photos carefully; they are part of the description.

For safe shipping, the four legs are dismantled. They can be easily screwed back into the table after receipt. The whole is carefully packaged.
