Description from the seller
A icon born to compete. Official document and representation of the BMW M3 E30, unveiled in 1986 as BMW Motorsport's most radical answer to the Group A demands of DTM and touring car championships. It was not simply a sport version of the 3 Series: it was a car designed from the first stroke to dominate racetracks and bring that experience to the road.
The BMW M3 E30 is the very definition of homologation turned into legend. Its widened bodywork, muscular wheel arches, the more raked windshield, and the unmistakable rear spoiler were not aesthetic gestures but technical solutions aimed at optimizing aerodynamics and high-speed stability. Every detail—from the flatter rear window to the specific panels—responded to a clear objective: to win.
Under its hood lay the mythical four-cylinder S14, a naturally aspirated 2.3-liter engine (later 2.5 in Evolution versions) capable of exceeding 200 hp in its early variants and reaching even higher figures in special editions. It revved with an unmistakable mechanical roar, delivering power progressively and precisely, paired with a manual gearbox that demanded the driver’s total involvement.
Its dynamic balance, communicative steering, and pure rear-wheel drive offered a direct, analog driving experience, without electronic filters. The M3 E30 wasn’t driven; it was piloted. It was a car that rewarded technique, sensitivity, and commitment at the wheel.
In competition, it racked up titles in DTM, the European Touring Car Championship, and multiple national championships, becoming the most successful touring car of its era. On the street, it transformed into a symbol of character, German precision, and uncompromising sport spirit.
Today, the BMW M3 E30 is much more than a classic: it’s an absolute reference, a cult piece that represents the purest essence of BMW Motorsport and the golden age of analog sports cars.
It comes with a black wooden frame and acrylic glass. Very well wrapped and protected for safe transport until you have it in your hands. The outer dimensions are 63 x 93 cm and 3 cm in depth.
Large-format print with gallery-quality. Museum-grade cotton canvas paper, 340 g/m2.
FRAME INCLUDED, you’ll just have to hang it on the wall. Shipped inside a wooden crate to prevent any impact. See the photos.
We ship worldwide, well protected via UPS/DHL/FedEx with insurance and shipment tracked the day after payment. You can visit our profile to see other precious Porsche items we have available!
