The concept of “Chambre Close” rests on the discovery of a set of photographs accompanied by a text explaining the fetishism of their unknown author: that of asking strangers to pose naked for him. The color photographs feature various alluring women in anonymous hotel rooms—with walls wallpapered in patterns and cheaply furnished rooms—and in varied states of erotic undressing.
